Healthy Detox Diet To Reduce Health Risks


When a man got a lung cancer, he might argue that he smoke as much as his best friend. But why he got cancer, while his best friend didn’t have to suffer one? This might be related to different level of detoxification genes in each human being. However, even if your health is not quite strong, with an unhealthy lifestyle, if you take a healthy detox diet, you can reduce your health risks, from cancer, heart diseases to other degenerative diseases.
 

 

Modern living forces us to live in a poisonous environment full of free radicals and toxins, at workplace or even at home. Smoking, junk food and alcohol get it even worse. However, you can still break the toxins from your body when you have a strong detoxification system. To support the system, you need the healthy detox diet: healthy foods and no smoking!

Healthy detox diet contains mostly of fruits, vegetables, grains and beans. The four of them are the key to protect your health from the bad effect of polluted environment. These foods will open up access to vital nutrition sources which help your body to do its own detoxification process.



 

The most important element on the healthy detox diet is, I believe, flavonoid. Flavonoid is one of phytochemicals which are found in soy, green tea, broccoli, apple, strawberry, and even red wine (because it is produced from red grapes). Flavonoid is, many researchers believe, a very strong detoxification agent, which is effective in detox process even against the very dangerous substances.
 


Healthy detox diet providing phytochemicals will recharge your body detoxification system, and support detoxification enzyme to have an optimal function. On the other hand, lack of healthy detox diet will decrease the function of your detoxification genes. This condition will weaken your body, and enable toxins and free radical to grow and cause diseases like cancer, arthritis, and other degenerative diseases.

Besides flavonoid, phytochemicals are also contained in D-glucarate, and found in many fruits and vegetables such as apple, grapefruit, broccoli, Brussel sprouts and bean sprouts. Diterpenoid and triterpenoid in rosemary, phenolic and polyphenolin in tea and coffee are also foods that provide a healthy detox diet to reduce many health risks in your modern life style!
