How Sauna Detox Works ?
Sauna detox
is believed to be the best method of releasing trapped toxin and poison from
our body. Using sauna repeatedly will slowly restore skin elimination, which
will remove toxic chemicals and metals in a fast way. However, pregnant
women should not take sauna for detox, as the heat can cause neural tube
defects in the fetus during the first trimester of the pregnancy. For you
who are in child-bearing age, it is better to take first a pregnancy test
before beginning sauna detox, as you probably do not know that you are
pregnant on the early first trimester.
Types of Sauna
-
Traditional sauna uses
electric, wood or gas fired – need preheating
-
Far-Infrared sauna uses
ceramic elements – preheating is unnecessary
(the more modern method uses
infrared bulbs)

Basically sauna detox is safe for most people when we follow these rules :

minerals to your water if it is mineral-free.

-
If you are a very
heat-sensitive, begin with a shorter time.
-
Remain inside the
sauna no longer than 30 minutes at a time.
-
Rest lying or sitting
for 10 minutes afterwards, to allow your body to eliminate dead
cells and other debris.
-
Ventilate the sauna
whenever you use it to avoid toxic gases breathing. If you use
your bathroom or closet, leave the door slightly ajar.
-
Pass the time by
meditating, working or talking is not recommended.
-
After finishing sauna
detox, take a shower, warm or cool but not hot. Do not use soap,
shampoo, conditioner, lotion or cream as they may contain
